WTM Africa gets the ball rolling!

Visitor registration for WTM Africa 2016 is now live. Fair Trade Tourism is once again partnering with this leading B2B inbound and outbound travel event taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from April 6 - 8 2016 and will be exhibiting at the event, as well as working with WTM Africa’s organisers to raise awareness of sustainable, responsible tourism in Africa.

WTM Africa is a not-to-be missed experience for travel professionals from Africa and those across the world who sell Africa. It attracts exhibitors from all over Africa and beyond, and is the only tradeshow of its kind on the African continent to focus on inbound and outbound travel, tailored to the African market.

In 2015 the event played host to 142 members of the press, 197 hosted buyers, 418 delegates from the WTM Buyers Club, 2847 trade visitors, 4127 industry professionals and 567 exhibiting companies. There were 7600 pre-scheduled appointments and two days of speed networking at the 2015 event and 2016 looks set to be even bigger, and better.

All visitors at WTM Africa are invited to participate in seminar and conference items, every day over the three days with a focus on education, responsible tourism, digital solutions and much more. The show’s valuable networking sessions are specifically designed to cater for travel professionals such as the WTM Buyers Club and the Hosted Buyer Programme. 

WTM Africa forms part of Africa Travel Week which comprises of three co-located industry events namely International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Africa, International Business Travel Market (IBTM) and WTM Africa.
