Undergraduate students

As you are aware, Fair Trade Tourism is the world’s first and still the only tourism Fair Trade certification programme. The Fair Trade Tourism label is awarded to tourism businesses in South Africa that adhere to Fair Trade criteria: fair wages and working conditions; fair operations, purchasing and distribution of benefits; ethical business practice, and respect for human rights, culture and the environment.

Our website contains many sections which should be able to assist you in your research. From information on the Fair Trade movement, to FTT’s own certification programme, from advocacy work, publications, media releases, case studies and donor-funded projects to Fair Trade Tourism's annual report, we trust you will find the content on our site helpful.

Unfortunately, capacity constrains prevent us from engaging further with your work, but we wish you much success in your studies.
