  • All employees need to be aware of this issue and understand what their roles and responsibilities are.
  • All training given to employees needs to be recorded as referred to in point A1.3.
  • Guests also need to be informed of these regulations, especially if there may be an option for them to purchase such products.
  • The business should assist guests with queries around the purchasing of such products especially with reference to potential export and the national regulations that exist around this.
  • Guests can be formed in a number of ways, for example; through written material such as pamphlets with guidelines, awareness raising sessions before tours, communication from employees, etc.
