Relevant information on the EMP/Code of Conduct is communicated to guests

What does this mean?

  • The business needs to determine what points in the EMP could be communicated to guests that would be relevant to them.
  • For example if the business is doing alien land clearing, this could be relevant so that guests understand the biodiversity of the area and how indigenous species need to be protected.
  • Another example could be to inform guests of something that they could actually be involved in or contribute towards.
  • Communication could be verbal through employees and guides or in written form through the use of flyers and information made available to them in their rooms.
