The procurement of local art, architecture or cultural heritage by the business to be used in its operations, design, decoration food or shops is only done with the necessary legal permissions

What does this mean?

  • This is only applicable if required by national legislation, i.e. obtaining permits for the sale or use of local art, architecture and/or cultural heritage.  In South Africa no permits are required for this.
  • If permits do need to be obtained and limits are set for the use of certain products, these need to be adhered to by the business.
