There are records of in kind contributions to community development based on the written strategy

What does this mean?

  • It is important for the business to keep this kind of information and it should include the following:
    • The nature of the contribution (e.g. cleaning of schoolyard and planting grass)
    •  Who the beneficiaries were (e.g. children of the local primary school)
    • The estimated monetary value or man hours spent (e.g. 4 workers for 0.5 days @ R150/day).

What do I do?

  •  In the Template Portal you will find the Community Contribution Sheet which can be used to capture in kind community contribution.
  •  Beneficiaries should also sign some form of acknowledgement that they have received these contributions.  This will also be a form of recordkeeping.
