There is no evidence of discrimination against guests by the business or any of its employees

What does this mean?

  • Non-discrimination is core to the values of Fair Trade Tourism, which also relates to the business and its employees against guests.
  • To ensure this, it is advised that the business develop a policy on guest relations which employees are trained on.
  • The business needs to take responsibility for itself and all of its employees to ensure that guests are looked after and not discriminated against  in terms of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, etc.
